We have a variety of fence designs that can match many homes and landscapes. Challenger Fence is hiring a Customer Service Assistant for our Paterson, NJ location. This position will be responsible for receptionist duties, data entry for sales leads, working with permit personnel to obtain necessary permits, and answer general customer questions. This position will work with other administrative staff, customers, shop personnel, and installers. The role will support sales and installers at approximately 20 big box stores. Duties and Responsibilities â¢ Correspondence with customers regarding job orders â¢ Responsible for maintaining labor and materials worksheet communication between vendors and company â¢ Maintain sales lead update sheets â¢ Contact customers and handle customer deposit and payments â¢ Work with staff to obtain necessary permits Education and Experience: â¢ High School diploma is required. Associates Degree is preferred. â¢ A minimum 2 years experience in an administrative, receptionist or customer service role â¢ Experience working with construction company or sales personnel is a plus â¢ MS Office experience is required Skills required: â¢ Excellent oral and written communication skills â¢ Strong organizational and time management skills â¢ Ability to manage multiple priorities â¢ Ability to interact with customers â¢ Ability to function independently as well as within a team We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
